Imprint (medallion): it is the distinctive sign of the prior of the Confraternity. The imprint depicts the iconography of the Apostle James as it was represented following the Battle of Clavijo which saw the appearance of the Saint to the Catholics against the Moors as a viaticum for victory (23.05.844).

The imprint is in embossed and chiseled silver and there is the "turret" punching, the most important silver manufacture of the Republic of Genoa. The dating is between 1795 and 1805. The title of the association is engraved on the imprint: "Compagnia di San Giacomo della Marina di Levanto". The white penitents of San Giacomo di Levanto is a disciplinary brotherhood with origin at the end of the 13th century.
