Brief description of the work and of the author's profile: The dressed polymaterial simulacrum wears the habit of the order of the Preachers with the white cassock, the rosary crown at the waist, the scapular and the cape in nigris. In his left hand he holds the Church, in his right hand a floral wreath with a palm and a lily intertwined. On the forehead the iconographic attribute of the star, symbol of predestination and personal sign of the Saint since it is said that, on the day of his baptism, his mother saw a shining star shine on his forehead. At his feet a dog with a torch between his teeth, prefiguration of the Saint.
