Brief description of the work and author profile: Polychrome wooden statue depicting St. Catherine of Alexandria in an attitude of devotion and with her symbol of martyrdom, the broken wheel. It comes from the church of the Gesù now no longer existing. Restored by the Superintendency in the 1970s due to the state in which it is located, it needs a new intervention.
