Author (with year of birth and death): According to tradition, the artifact was embroidered by the nuns of the Magdalene probably on the occasion of an anniversary

Brief description of the work and of the author's profile: Planet in white cannetè silk with very rich embroidery in gold and polychrome silk. There are numerous curved-shaped decorations, of racemes with leaves and flowers, net motifs and cornucopia. The crowned coat of arms is in relief and baroque in shape, like all the embroidery. Inside it has depictions of Dominican symbols. The chevron is embroidered directly on the background fabric and made with full stitch rhomboid shapes.
