Brief description of the work and of the author's profile: White marble statue in the round depicting Christ CAPUT MUNDI with raised arm and in the other hand with the sphere. The figure seems to take the step, starting to walk and getting closer to us. The position of the right foot is in fact advanced with respect to the static nature of the other foot and to the entire axis of the figure and the deep folds of the mantle highlight the shape of the leg clearly the movement. In support of this is also the drapery suspended from the left arm which is in slight lateral displacement. It is all set to a beginning to advance, to come directly to meet us. The gaze, in fact, straight and steady, contributes to decisively involve the observer in receiving the blessing with the right hand, and universal for the crucigero globe in the left hand.
