Congregation of the Immaculate Conception

Priority staff, made entirely by hand by a Lombard craftsman, Albrizzi Giuseppe. The stick, a sign of the one who guides with righteousness, consists of a wooden rod which has, in the lower end, a point, symbol of stimulus and correction, and, in the upper end, a rounded part in silver. The latter is characterized by four symbols in relief: the Immaculate Virgin, protector of the Congrega; the equilateral triangle, symbol of the SS. Trinity; the snake, the sign par excellence of prudence; the dove, emblem of simplicity. These refer to the Gospel words “I send you out like sheep among wolves; therefore be prudent as serpents and simple as doves. " (Mt 10, 16).
