Brief description of the work and the author's profile: Polychrome wooden statue depicting the Child who blesses and holds the globe surmounted by a cross. The entire statue is completely repainted, has glass eyes and a rich set consisting of a silver crown, long silky hair with light brown curls. The clothing is composed of three silk garments embroidered in gold yarn and the fabric one in white, the second in red and the third in green-light blue, furthermore a long crimson red gown with silver embroidery completes the clothing. The hexagonal shaped base has cherub heads in clouds. It is exhibited for the day of the Epiphany while in the past it went out in procession.
