Confraternity dress - (Calabria)

Congregation of Maria SS. of the Seven Sorrows

The confreres  dress a suit composed of a long white coat girded at the waist with black and blue color girdle, by a rocchetta (mozetta) black, a white cap, a blue band placed sideways on to rocchetta on which there is the inscription " Servants of Mary " . The sisters, until 1985, wore black and wore the headband. Reasons relating to the decorum of the procession and its uniformity led the administration and the spiritual father of the time, to the adoption, also for them, of a uniform consisting of a black cloth dress.
